Statement of Faith
New Elam Christian Church is called to proclaim the Gospel of Christ and the beliefs of the evangelical Christian faith to maintain the worship of God, and to inspire in all persons a love for Christ, a passion for righteousness, and a consciousness of their duties to God and their fellow human beings. We pledge our lives to Christ and covenant with each other to demonstrate His Spirit through Worship, witnessing, and ministry to the needs of the people of this church, the community, and the world.

The Psalmist said in Psalms 122:1, "I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord."
In Matthew 22 Jesus was asked what the great commandment was and "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself."
What a blessing for us to come together at New Elam Christian Church to worship, fellowship, and grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
